What a great week! Funny thing: no sooner did we do a little "Bill Dolan Rocks" post than I end up hooking up with him via YouTube. He's a cool cat, and I hope to talk with him next week about what he's been up to. But enough about us; How was your week?

We got a little Bad Brains, a little Deftones, a little Common—a whole bunch of different stuff in this selection. The unifying thing: they're all first songs on their respective albums (well, or the second song following an "intro" piece...). Mostly heavy stuff, but some lighter fare as well. I got turned on to cKy in (for me) the unlikeliest of sources—a soundtrack for a tv show (Jackass). And if you don't know Bad Brains, then shame on you. Enjoy!
