Announcing GoRun: Twitter + Runners
May 14, 2008 | in Hella Sound | 0 Comments
Hella Sound is pleased to announce GoRun, a spanking new site feature.

It’s easy to post to GoRun—just follow these simple steps:
- Create an account at Twitter (or use one you already have)
- Follow the user GoRun
- Sign up here and include your Twitter user name
- Send GoRun a direct message. Example:
d GoRun I’m running in the Boston Marathon next year! w00t!
It’s that simple.
Sweet! So What Can I Do With This?
Here’s a couple ideas off the top of our head:
- Share a post from your running blog
- Promote your running event
- Tell the world about your last run
- Share an inspiring story
- Brag about your new personal best
The possibilities are endless.
GoRun is real-time: we are constantly polling Twitter for the freshest messages you send.
GoRun is searchable: enter your search keywords in the search box up yonder (↑) and the results page will display results from GoRun as well as the rest of the site.
GoRun is independent: we love Twitter, but we also recognize that it occasionally falls down and hurts itself. As such, we’ve taken steps to make sure that GoRun is not adversely affected by Twitter outages; even if Twitter goes down you will still be able to browse GoRun posts on www.HellaSound.com.
You could call GoRun the real-time, constantly-evolving online compendium of all things runner and running-related.
We think that’s carrying things a bit too far.
Instead, let’s say it’s a finger on the pulse of the running world. And it’s driven by you. Check it out! GoRun
